Kuznetsov trade and other moves

i just dont think Jarmo is gonna be attracted to all the baggage Kuzy carries. besides i would bet hard money that we are on his NTC

He won't go for it before RNH re-signs in EDM, for sure. I think it's only an eight team list. Normally people like to guess basement teams, but coming off a year where Laviolette has gotten huge defensive improvements out of Kuznetsov and then still benched him for little things, I think it might come down to what kind of coach CBJ goes with over the summer. After Tortorella and Laine didn't really gel, I would bet Jarmo looks for a player-friendly coach who gives a lot of transparency in terms of what he wants, and tries to forgive the little things. Between that and an opportunity to play #1C next to Laine rather than splitting time with Backstrom and Eller, even if Columbus is on the list, I could imagine Kuznetsov waiving.

I just hope Kuzy stays in the Metro, so the Canes can continue to torture him defensively.

I don’t think GMJK is going to shy away from Kuzy. He knows he needs a 1C desperately and to get one with term and his pedigree for this cost would be worth it IMO.

Maybe. The Jackets' spectacular collapse this year was because The Exiled Traitor's unexplained walkabout abruptly shifted us from "much more than the sum of their parts" to "much less than the sum of their parts". I have this persistent worry that Kuznetsov antics here could very well keep us in that horror zone.
