The Rangers do need help with faceoffs and that's why they should try hard to sign Luke Glendening who is a UFA and costs no assets to get. 55% lifetime in the circle, plus plays a physical game....perfect 4th line center. But he will cost money to get and knowing how cheap the Rangers usually are for 4th line players, they probably wouldn't want to pay him.....hopefully Drury thinks differently than Slats and Gorton.

You can definitely cross Lindholm, Barkov, Trocheck, and Couturier off that list. They are aallfor sure not available

Forget Trochek, Barkov, and Kadri (via trade anyway). Don't see them moving as good teams don't trade good players with term. You try to sign them UFA and pay a ton cap-wise.

Probably the same for Nugent-Hopkins, Hertl, and Lindholm. Doubt they'd be available (assuming N-H wants to stay in Edmonton and win).

A Philly-NYR deal would just be gross. I know it's a business but still...

Monahan would cost a good bit in assets but could be a good target. But I'd say Danault is the guy you want. Not a 1C but a nice 2C option behind Zibanejad. Also wouldn't be surprised if he does test UFA so it could br a fix now for nothing but money.

You want cheap? I’d love to see Nolan Patrick in a new setting. Obviously not wth Strome and Chytil around, but if one is moved, I’d love to see it.
