Now I understand that these rankings are from the beginning of the season and aren't end-all-be-all, but why are people saying that a trade package of "Turcotte (89), Kaliyev (57) and Matt Roy" is too much for Eichel, but a package of "Chytil (44), Kravtsov (90) and Lundkvist (77)" isn't close to enough??

Just because a team isn't offering one of their top 3 assets doesn't mean that what they're offering isn't comparable to other teams top assets.

Exactly, I wouldn't trade Fox(28) straight up for Eichel, after this year. SInce then Kaliyev tied for rookie goals in the AHL, Turcotte won a gold in the world juniors as a top center, and Roy got extended for 3 years and is playing 2nd pairing minutes as the Kings second best d-man. Also Eichel had 2 goals, is injured, and dumped on his team.

1. I don't think Turcotte, Kaliyev and Roy is too much for Eichel.

2. I don't think Chytil, Kravtsov and Lundkvist isn't close to enough for Eichel.

3. I don't think that referring back to an opinion from the beginning of the year that has Brett useless-mouth, expansion-draft-fodder Howden rated ahead of Gabe Vilari, Tobias Bjornfot and Rasmus Kupari is very useful.
