It's funny to see these "This superstar is going to request a trade because his team is bad!!!!" posts. If a star player is going to inevitably demand a trade because their teams can't get out of the 1st round, what do you think star players on teams that can't even get into the playoffs are going to do?

I guess you don’t get that the Sabres don’t have to trade Eichel, he’s under contract for 5 more years. Theyre not trading him for scraps. If the rangers won’t trade one of laf/kakko for Eichel, they’re not getting him. Simple as that
