Description
I don't love giving up picks but could see Tierney and Kulak re-signed as affordable options going forward. The team has added what should be a fairly effective third line. Both trades would be pre-expansion, though the Beagle trade could be done in two parts so that Beagle's bonus could be paid out by Vancouver, costing the Sens only 1.2 million for the year. Heiman might end up getting more, Lekhonen could be another unqualified RFA who could fit in that spot. No buyouts beyond Virtanen gives some solid space to make improvements in the following offseason. I put Roussel on LTIR which is a dream; another scenario includes picks to Seattle for them to take him.

Whole point of trading Tierney is to move a centre out. Don't want or need one coming back

i feel like the sens would rather just give up tierney for a 3rd, we’re not really a team looking to pick up dead weight contracts anymore and don’t need a 4C with no upside

Would probably cost you a 2nd just to dump Beagle and his 3m, would need to add something if you want Tierney back as well

Beagle is likely to sit on LTIR next year. Hasn't been much information put out on it, but the situation is similar to Ferlands. Even still, with a consensus 3rd for Tierney, and probably a 3rd to dump Beagle, a high 2nd should get it done. If he does end up on LTIR, then this is a fleece.
