OR, hear me out, the Devils draft the youngest Hughes brother at 5th overall instead of trading that pick for an offensive defenseman they don't need in Q. Hughes.

To expand on this, if NJ wanted to add Hughes they should look to include Ty Smith in the package. They are very similar players (all offense no defense) and allows for more diverse player types in the NJ d-core.
