Why should Detroit take anything less for Bertuzzi than what Toronto got for Kapanen?

Hallander is a mid level prospect and is not really all that valuable. Lilly is a nice player but that and the 2nd a year away is not enough to make this trade within the division.

None of the pieces in this deal are enticing. The ask is: 2022 1st + Amirov + Ovechnikov. If we have to watch him excel next to Tavares multiple times a year it's going to cost you.
