Why not move Kruger, let Darling go, and keep Crawford? That's what Chicago will actually do, I think.

Because I would argue this is a better situation to be in. Yes, this likely is not what they will do. But if you can do something like this...move money out and get some nice young pieces and still be fine in goal...why wouldn't you?

would love to hear a Sens fan weigh in on the value. Feel like Chabot is untouchable after his WJC performance.

I suggested in another thread Crow to the Isle for Dal Colle and Halak. The Isle being another team that could use stability in net.

Don't think Hawks would even consider that deal. Dal Colle doesn't appear to be anything too special and Halak has been...not good...this year. Also, sure Chabot was great. Hasn't done a thing in the NHL. Senators are getting a Top 5-Top 10 goalie in the world.
