    Well, the easiest way to get back under the cap would be to forget about that Kings trade. Walker has almost as many NHL games (156) under his belt as Liljegren has NHL (13) and AHL (148) games combined, and suits us just fine at RD on the third pairing.

    I think Walker is a very good player on a team friendly contract. Personally im not a huge fan of Liljegren. Watching Walkers perforance the last 2 NHL seasons and with his play at the WC last month, I think he could be a key piece to any team that wants to make a serious run at a cup

    I agree. Wholeheartedly. That's why we're not likely to be trading him, especially for another RD.
