As I've said in other posts the Sabre's had the chance to take Rossi and they passed on him for whatever reasons so why would they take him as a primary piece in an Eichel trade.

Jets don't want Eakin back but I'd think they'd beat that offer for Ristolainen.

Because he's still good regardless, they can like Quinn more?

This "logic" doesn't check out. As I'VE said in other posts, for whatever reasons, the Wild wanted Marco Rossi over Cole Perfetti or Anton Lundell or Seth Jarvis. But if I was trading a top player to either Winnipeg or Florida or Carolina, I would want one of those three back in the deal.

You have no idea why they passed on Rossi. you don't know if they wanted Quinn to put next to Eichel, simply preferred Quinn to some degree, or flat out hated Rossi. So unless you can prove without a doubt that Adams does not like Rossi at all, this line of thinking is severely flawed.

    -------------

In regards to OP's deal, I suspect the Wild are out of the running, and I think the demand for Rossi and/or Boldy is a big reason why. I can't imagine both are sent out.
