Stop posting stuff like this on threads. Unless you know the player or someone close to the player, you have absolutely 0 idea who would waive and who wouldn't.

Value wise - the Tampa trade is fine. Overpay but Philly but it would take an overpay to get them to make a move.

The problem is it doesn't help Tampa right now. Yes the $6M in cap space is nice, but if they lose Cernak and Savard they have to replace 2 good right handed defenceman and that's easily over $6M anyways.

Any deal that Tampa makes is likely to be a hockey deal to bring in cheaper players that can still help them win. People are going to argue that they're in cap hell so they shouldn't get good players - which may be true - but they're also really good players who may be winning back to back cups. It won't be hard to get value from them.

Unless you blow TB out of the water with an offer Cernak isn't available. This certainly doesn't do that.
