    Palmieri had no points against TB and was responsible for Gourde scoring the SHG - unless he signs for 2.5-3 mill x 1 , they should let him walk. The isles have enough 30+ year old forwards.

    I dont think losing ebs for nothing is best case scenario. He's not untouchable, but he holds significant value.

    I don't think Minnesota is a team that's going to want to take on a cap dump, with cap as tight as it is at the moment. The value here favors Minnesota, but they have a lot of obstacles to clear before we can even consider this. Can't you just buy him out? 2 years of an 833k cap hit isn't bad, you still clear 1.7M this summer.

    I'm not sure when the buyout windows are. I guess worst case scenario, buying him out is something we could possibly tolerate if we're swapping a 6th for Bellows to do it. I guess, if Guerin even likes Bellows in the first place.
