Description

Obviously it hurts to part with McDonagh, but I would rather lose him and his soon-to-be bad contract than Palat or Killorn. As much as I like Coleman, I think he has priced himself out of the market. I think Goodrow will stay on for a little below market value at 2M to stay in tax-free, Tampa with the chance to win another cup: I had the same reasoning for most of my UFAs. Though the D looks worse on paper, I think that Foote takes on a larger role this year as a top 4 DMan, and the bottom 4 looks a lot more reliable than before. Overall, it isn't as good as past Tampa teams, but it is under the cap (yes, I know it's slightly over but minor adjustments will fix that) and still looks like a cup favourite to me,

It will most definitely cost you more then two 20 year old, former 3rd round picks and 2nd/3rd 2 years from now to dump Johnson
Seattle doesn't even consider this.

Ouch, that Defense looks rough compared to Hedman/Rutta
McDonagh/Cernak
Sergachev/Savard

And Schenn, Foote and Borgman as depth.

I would want to resign Schenn and Chatfield as RHD depth instead of Bartkowski. And Bartkowski is from Pittsburgh. But Schenn > Bartkowski.

Schenn just in case Chatfield or Foote arnt able to handle second pairing minutes and critical 2nd pairing shifts. Luke Schenn is atleast proven.
