With more teams dropping out of the Eichel sweepstakes Im a lot more hesitant to move Tkachuk for him now.

The Olofsson is a though one. I don't hate it. But in the end I think it'd be a bit of an overpay by the Oilers. Olofsson hasn't proven yet that he is a legit and consistant top 6 player. So I wouln't give up a promising young forward in Lavoie (who obviously could also be a bust/not make it) AND a 1st. Either Lavoie and a lower pick or the 1st and a less promising prospect.

Are you sure you want to make that Jets trade?

I feel like picking up a one dimensional winger is the last thing the Oilers need.

That's a more straight up version of what I was trying to say. grin If he proves that he's not as one dimensional as we think I'd be more willing to pay something for him if I was Ken Holland.
