Description
I don’t think trading Marner is the answer at all, but if it helps you get Tkachuk, then you do it. You are going to lose value on the Tkachuk and Carlo trades, but they need to win now while their veterans are aging and their fans are getting crankier. Also (hopefully), these moves will put them in an easier position in regards to the cap.

The problem with the Boston trade is it doesn't really give them any pieces that help them compete. Mainly futures and some close prospects. Carlo just doesn't seem like the guy BOS would give up unless it was for a clear upgrade at a position of need
