If the first round pick gets traded, I would like to see something like this. Good idea, and I think it could be beneficial to both teams.

Only thing i don't like about Garland is his size. We're already a small team. That said not a bad trade. I hate trading our first but Garland is a young enough player where i don't have an issue with it. Trading Fabbro really hitches us to the over 30 d group though which is something i'm not fond of. I personally think that's far too much term for Saros. I think he's gonna be a great starter but Askarov should be moving into that position in 5 years or so and moving goalies can be tricky.

All in all pretty good stuff here.

Im thinking they move Saros once Askarov is ready to start full time, Saros is gonna get paid by them even if both sides know hes not finishing the deal as a pred

Also I figured trading Fabbro over Carrier would help since Fabbro has more value (IMO) and he has to be paid

Fabbro has the advantage of being drafted higher. Carrier had a better showing this season. Of the two, I'd part with Fabbro before Carrier but I'd rather part with Ellis all things equal.
