    That trade doesn’t save Vegas any cap space, so why would the Golden Knights trade the Vezina winner for a 2nd pair D and a backup goalie?

    Also you need to provide a reason why Malkin is out. Kuch had hip surgery, so we need a medical operation leading to a 6 month break from the ice.

    Malkin just had knee surgery. Will most likely miss the start of the season but should be back by December.
