Personally, I don't think he has. I believe WPG will sign him to a 4 year deal around $4m.

Coleman won't sign for that cheap and not enough term.. That's a bit too much for an underwhelming McGinn-not a top 6 f... Highly unlikely Haula signs for that deal either to come here and play on the 4TH LINE, he's not better than Lowry to take his spot on the 3rd Line... I also don't believe Suter signs for that little to come up to Winnipeg, maybe give him 2/3 years at $3.5 and he might be convinces, however I believe there with be a lot of suitors(no pun intended) for him to shore up their bottom 4 pairings for a nice team friendly deal... Hamonic would be a nice add for a nice deal there, but he's not the need, they need more of an offensive type right hand shot d man...

I think this would be ideal for the Jets. I'd rather not lose him.
But I don't think he'd go to Seattle for nothing. This would be a big L for Chevy. If they know Copp won't sign long term, they need to make a deal.
They can't lose Copp for nothing next year and probably lose Appleton for nothing to Seattle.

Yup, I agree! If he's 100% sure a deal with Copp can't be reached, he should be trading him for a decent return and protecting Appleton instead. Hoping that isn't the case though.
