I honestly cant believe Sweeney qualified both Kase and Ritchie. Just cut bait, move on. Im praying theres another plan in the works than to pay Kase 2.6 million. It makes no sense to me. Would love Garland, have no idea what gets it done to be honest. Suter and Reilly probably get a close to a million more each. (another reason why Kase at 2.6 million is a joke)

You should read up on QO. You are wrong. They will not pay him 2.6m. The only thing the QO did was make it so they could match. They protected him. Because of GP it will be a 2way deal. If he is healthy, he is 100% worth twice that. If he is not, they can bury him or LTIR him and have no effect on their cap situation. It is 100% the right move. Nick RItchie is a 2m player. He is. He isn't going to be top 6 or shouldn't be but 2m for a bottom 6 who can score on the PP Is acceptable especialyy when he is 25-26 years old.

I think thats a decent return for Garland and could see the Yotes accepting. Prolly would want Garland in your top 6 and also Mike Reilly will likely want more money.

Bruins need Suter and another shutdown d-man to play with Clifton. Put the money into Ian Cole and let Suter pair with McAvoy and Grzelcyk with Carlo. That way you have two good puck movers in the top 4 and size throughout the top 6 that will kill penalties and be hard to play against.

first off, i said i was hoping for another plan (b/c i considered no competent GM would pay him that) also correct me if im wrong, but cant Kase just sign the qualifying offer? Or do you only use the tender agreement to keep as an RFA. Because i coulda sworn you could just sign your qualifying offer if you wanted. Also he's not worth twice that when healthy. 5.2 million dollars for a guy who has a career high 38 points (if that was what you meant) Im just not there with ritchie, more of a matter of opinion. don't think he touches the game in enough areas, too many nights where you dont notice him.
