I don't believe it does but I can't imagine the league allows the severity of his recapture to stand. It would cripple the Predators and would force them to operate below the cap floor.

No it doesn’t help them. However, they could buy him out instead, which would be a better thing for them

No, it changed
If Weber retires it’s 4.9M per season until the end of is contract
With NSH trading Arvidsson and Ellis and losing Jarnkrok, I think they are ready to take the 4.9M for the next 5 years
They won’t trade for him
