Dude, have you seen Cole Caufield play? And with the extra $9 million in cap space, I wouldn’t trade Caufield for Eichel straight up.

You have a point about the cap space and i took that in consideration. It's a question of timing. My guess is Caufield will be 80% of Eichel in a few years (He will cost 7$M maybe then). But I'd like the habs to take a shot at the cup NOW while Price is hot !

Also, if Danault is leaving we are in a deep need for a center

Eichel and Suzuki at the center line, that's a contender centerline !!!

I do not think MTL has the pieces to acquire Eichel. It would require this, but Suzuki and Caufield should be untouchable to them.

Eichel scored more points as an 18 year old rookie on a crap roster than Suzuki's had in his entire career with a playoff roster. The two are not in the same stratosphere of player. Give me a break with this garbage
