Didn't look at your team but had to post something about how awful the Pens jerseys are tonight. Possibly the ugliest jerseys ever.

Amen to that.
But more relevant to the post. You're a few million short on signing Brendan smith. And have no reason too if you're signing him for a 7th d. I don't get it. Why would he take a pay cut on the open market. And just to not be in the lineup? Smith makes 3.5 minimally I believe in open market. And ends up either a really good bottom pairing d. Or a decent top 4lhd. Probably be a lot better outside of a wings system. Will be a good steal for someone

Better than their previous two winter classic jerseys in my opinion. They remind me of the Steelers bumblebee jerseys that were retired this year.

3.5 for a guy, who's offensive abilities he had shown in college has not even remotely been evident in the NHL and has missed significant time in the past two seasons, would be a huge stretch in my mind. I really haven't even see him play much, mainly going off of reports and others opinions, but most of what I have heard is he would be more likely to thrive in the Pens system. Kinda putting him in there as a bit of a reclamation project. 7th D, back-up and the 4th line wingers on this are more of a general idea of the type of player/money.

Yeah, they are pretty rough looking.
