you know that Kane's contract will be terminated if he the allegations are true, and no way is SJ trading away Bordeleau + 2m retention + taking a massive cap dump to GET RID OF their top scorer.

And if they can't terminate the contract, the rest of the team doesn't want him back. And the asset is tainted. Would SJS like to clear off $5mm/year for the next 4 to alleviate the headache?

This is a win for Detroit but why would Sharks even consider it?

Sharks untouchables: Eklund, Wiesblatt, Bordeleau. Not moving any of them for a contract that will be voided anyway. This trade makes absolutely zero sense for SJ.

There is a 0% chance of any of this happening for a myriad of reasons.

Furthermore, I don't care how good the guy is, when multiple players on the Sharks went to management and said they wanted him gone, that's all I need to know about how toxic he is to a locker room and I don't want that within a mile of this young Wings team. Just send him to Carolina or Montreal, they seem to be cool with **** human beings on their team.
