Not exactly - they reportedly want the equivalent of four 1sts, which could be any combination of actual 1st round picks, players drafted in the 1st round and/or roster players in the 20-24 year old category being used in top 6.

People on other teams have to realize the Sabres are trading their best player - regardless of current circumstances about his unhappiness or injury. Any team that is interested has to be willing to give up one of their top 5 players as part of the return. Kotkanemi isn't even one of the Canadiens 10 best players.
