I think that there's a flaw in your vision. Your team finished in seventh place in its division this past year and by your premise does nothing more than exchange J. T. Miller for Conor Garland and Alex Edler for Oliver Ekman-Larsson while Jack Eichel sits out the entire regular season. Why do you think that they are gonna finish higher than sixth place in this year's Pacific Division, never mind make the playoffs?
