NSH actually has more close to NHL ready LD depth in their system than RD depth right now. Regardless, it doesn't look like Allard will ever get a real shot in NSH. They'd probably accept the 3rd for Allard. If MTL wants to throw in whatever random prospect too, that'd be great (doesn't have to be Fairbrother).

Point taken though. If it would take less to acquire Allard, at least I'm not underpaying with the proposal. Fact is Montreal has a need with Fleury being plucked in expansion.

I’d do that Kulak-Turks swap but I think Fairbrother versus Allard one for one would fair enough (pun intended) maybe a 5th would make it even but nothing more
