Description
Canadiens add a puck-moving defenseman and some punch to their top 6, taking care of their biggest needs, while also picking up depth pieces at both forward and defense. These moves deplete most of our top minor league prospects and shed some valuable draft choices, but also leave the Habs with a winning core.

I agree that those trades would make montreal a real threat. However i think it is unrealistic to think your team is going to make 3 blockbuster trades in 1 trade deadline. Usually teams make 1 major deal and a few supplemental deals for depth. the canadiens may make a big deal but i wouldn't expect 3 of them.

I wouldn't consider the Patrick Sharp deal a "Blockbuster", but regardless, these 3 trades would identify all of the Canadiens' current needs and help them win now. Predicting the most likely outcome of deadline day is hard to do. Purely fantasy here.
