Klefbomb is almost certain to not play next year (more likely never) so he is placed on LTIR.
Assume Yammo signs for 1.5M this offseason (some say 1.25M some say 2M)
Assume JP has a breakout year and scores 25 goals and 20 assists.

I still think there could be a handshake deal with Chicago that Keith will retire after 2021/22 and give the Oilers 3M in cap relief in 2022/23 but I am not using that money in this roster.

With the money available the goaltending will require an interior solution, the oilers are obviously high on Konovalov, but Skinner is still there too after a solid AHL season. if neither of them pan out the Oilers will need to make a trade for one that would mean a significant piece/prospect going out the door

A 25-goal, 45 point season would likely earn Puljujarvi a bigger raise. Yamamoto is unlikely to accept $1.5Mx3. I'm not sure Benson will be in the Oiler organization much longer. Holloway is unlikely to see time on the 4th line. Holland will probably try to sign Archibald again.I'm curious to know where you think Samorukov fits.

If Yamo can get done 2x 1.5-1.75, should be fine whether Keith retires or not for sure. Everything fits if one of Konovalov or Skinner is ready to tandem, and over 40 Smith is still standing. That is a HUGE if. The only real concern here.

If Keith retires - tons of goalie money available. If not, it is still an elc and Smith unless Kass is sent somewhere.
