If it got to this they’d match it. They likely lock up Necas for long term at over this AAV if he has another good year this season anyways.

If you’re gonna do this at least make the number stupid on a one year deal. This will just be another annoying move from Habs which continues to leave the canes very flexible in both short and long term and then they’ll throw a stupid number at Suzuki which you guys will do what you need to match and then the same thing will happen to caufield. Habs are playing checkers.
