Massive overpay for Rakell. I’d rather beef up the package a little bit and get one year of Hertl instead. Honestly I’d rather have Kiviranta over Rakell, Rakell is 3 years older and will be paid 5 times more (according to the extension you made), Kivi was on a 34 point pace while Rakell on a 44. I’m pretty sure that a 10 point difference doesn’t equal a B prospect, a 1st, 3 year older player and 5 times the cap hit.

Those are all fair points but I think Rakell is definitely the better player. I think he'll thrive once hes out of Anaheim. Especially next too Pavelski.
