Detroit has no reason to make that trade. Neds our starter till Cossa is ready Koskinen and a mid to late first isn't appealing enough to take our young starter, who not to mention just came of a calder finalist year. I see San Jose asking for more if they are retaining that much.

I don’t see Detroit doing it and if going to go with a young goalie to back up smith we have our own to look at.
San Jose deal I wouldn’t do just because Kass can bring an element this team needs come playoffs. Hertl as good as he is doesn’t bring that intangible need.
Ducks deal id do no questions asked but I doubt the ducks would because of the term attached to ceci.

San Jose declines with a prejudice. Hertl as a first line C is a first, and 2nd and a blue chip prospect or top 6 roster player. The picks will be 22 picks not 23.
