I was looking forward to seeing how he plays

I wasn’t super high on him when he was selected but that’s why I’ll be on the couch watching the game tonight

is it really that bad? Rather give him time in the top 6 then being on the wing with Groulx or Lundy. Plus, our line up is already young enough and I much rather have a more veteran presence w Z taking 1st line minutes. Lastly, thinking of Sam steel and his development there is no reason to force this young guy into the lineup just because of draft position.

Anyways, happy opening day. Excited to get back into hockey.
