Hard no from the Oilers. Absolutely no incentive to take the extra year on the Quick contract and not in the position to take that cap hit.

Not sure why LA does that first trade at all. Anderson is one of LA's best young defensemen, and there's nothing in that package they need. Quick is not a cap dump. They're content to keep him as backup until his contract expires.

I don't know anything about Connor Ingram. Jacob Ingham looks like he could be a decent goaltender, so I'll say the Kings stick with what they have.

LA has plenty of depth LHD options, including Kale Clague who is a LHD that has almost exclusively played on the right side. Don't think they have any need for Mete.

Mikey Anderson is the best player in the first trade, so LA says No. And that's before we discuss Quick vs. Koskinen.

We have no intention of putting Mete on waivers just yet.

However, Ottawa does accept that return for him.
