Leafs are optimistic RWer Kapanen makes the jump from the AHL, maybe Gauthier too. Doubt if Nielsen if NHL ready. Has to improved his mobility. Don't if the Leafs would trade for a back up goalie, or Buffalo would trade their starting goalie. See that cap space, Lou will make deals to shore up the defence (no Marincin or Marchenko likely) even if with a short term veteran fix.
