Description
These trades are only possible if the market is demanding it and a bidding war starts. i can easily see the metro teams trading 1st rd picks and 2nd rd picks to make a run at wild card spot as almost every team in that division is good save jersey and cbj.
The edm trade is based on rumors Ive read that edm would be a good fit for him and EF mentioning that Habs could fetch a 1st for him. I know the oilers cap situation so tahts why i retained and took cap back.
The Lehkonen trade is based on what I mentioned above about the metro division? Can a 3rd line defensive winger fetch a 2nd rd pick? Maybe not. im just hopeful here. really hopeful lol.
Wideman has 8 points in 15 games, makes league min. if the habs dangle him at the tdl, they can fetch a decent return. teams always pick up D and he can help a lot of teams out for league min. i think a 2nd is reasonable based on past history.
kulak is a solid bottom 4 D who can be a stabilizing presence if consistent. caps are in that tough metro division.
im not 100% sure on the armia trade. i had to trade him, but i really dont know who needs him. i know the rangers lost blais. will they want armia? idk. is the return too high? probably. still a man can dream lol. this team will land us Wright!

Your proposals are always funny. No one is giving a 2nd round pick for nobody d in Chris W, Minnesota neither is giving a 2nd round pick for a crappy d who wouldn't even play or make the team.

he'd be 2nd on your team amongst d-men points, but okay.

He'd be tied for 3rd with Spurgeon, which doesn't really mean anything because if he was on this team he'd be on the third pair and wouldn't have that many points.

You can't use points and be like this player is good. Minnesota doesn't need him. Frankly Minnesota will just call up calen addison to play. So no, Minnesota isn't trading a 2nd round pick for a d they don't need, and would be @ best 6th d until spurgeon returns from injury
