    If i was the GM of MTL i wouldn't do either of those trades, but that's just me. But i agree about the fact that VGK takes Plekanec. Hopefully you're happy with 2 stars.

    They need to take some coin to meet the 2/3 requirement and Plekanec only has a year left, so it's a perfect fit. I would love Eakin on Montreal, I think he can be a second line centre, whereas Beaulieu has only shown flashes of top pair potential.

    Sorry bro but the Habs aren't going anywhere with Eakin as a 2nd line center. Galcheniuk isn't even a legit 1st line center, he can't win faceoffs and has no defensive awareness. He's a winger if anything. Habs really messed up with his development

    I agree but I'd rather they force Galchenyuk into that that role and say, you're staying here until you figure it out.
