Why are you taking on so many cap dumps and getting barely anything in return? It just doesn’t make much sense.

During his earlier stint with the Kings, he had a xGF% of like 20%. He's a quality option on the power play, but is poor at driving possession at 5v5 and plays exactly zero defense.

They sent him down to Ontario to improve his defensive game, because he really needs the work.

We can't trade Quick because he's a heart-and-soul guy and we can't trade Moore because he's from Thousand Oaks.

Not a fan of the Caps trade. I don't want Lemieux anywhere near this team, if reports from his time in Manitoba are true he's a menace, and not in a good way. I'd rather keep Sprong and just deal with the cap dumps in other ways.

Assuming Strand can be a solid 3rd pair D, I’d be cool with this for CBJ. Kukan is a UFA after this year, wouldn’t mind a cheap replacement for some RD depth.

Stenlund has passed waivers twice though, so LA has had two chances at him for free and has passed.
