I think the max another team would sign Brock for is 8mx7 but no one is doing an offer sheet that big so he would have to wait until FA.

That would mean a 7.5x1 then an 8x7 totalling 63.5m.

If he signed a 7x8 "today" that would be 56m. So he could make ~10% more by waiting until UFA but that comes with A LOT of risk from injuries and performance. Who knows what Brock is thinking but I personally would take the guaranteed money.

You're probably right. We probably keep a few of our depth prospects like him, Woo etc but I didn't want to sign them all.
