I (not a NYR fan) would say that’s fine. Problem is, Jimbo locked up Vancouver’s D-corps for a while. The trade makes sense, but for Schneider to get playing time, you’re gonna have to pay to move assets. Myers and Poolman aren’t worth their contracts, and we all know it.

Kinda of a bad move to trade 1.5 years your best players for two futures (and that second rounder is way down the road). Gee, what a way to piss off your fans and current players. Miller will get more if traded this year, and he still has value if traded next season, but only if the Canucks are out of the playoff race.
