No. It’s not. It never is. Idiot bruins fans said this about krug back in the day. It’s an entirely different skill set, especially in regards to mentally processing the game.
Through minor hockey, five years of junior, world junior championships, 10+ years in the NHL, multiple years in minor league hockey, every single coach thought it was best for their team to have him as a dman. You think you’re smarter than all them? No. He’s a d man for a reason. Foolish idea.
