Team Explanation
I really hope MTL selects 4th and pick one of the good RD from the draft....

picking first...is a curse selection with Wright. He smells like a bust somehow. I get major Yakupov smell, where everybody says he is the undisputed 1 OVR picks, while not doing any thing incredible really.

I also get major Drouin vibe from him, big talent, no compete.

Agree with you, I would love Nemec but taking him in the top 3 would be a mistake. So if we get the #4 or 5, that would be a solid selection

Like I said... winning the lottery this year would be a curse - but habs should pull an Yzerman and pick a RD super early (Mo Seider)

this is why habs can't have star players. we label them busts before even having a chance to draft them

I’m thinking the exact same thing. We wend picking Wright and he doesn’t turn out. Although I don’t quite agree with the compete part, even when he’s struggling he still puts in the effort defensively. There’s just something off this year

That being said I’m torn as I still really like savoie lambert and Miroshnichenko. If we could get a top 3 or 4 pick next year than grabbing nemec/jiricek is perfectly fine

It's not about that, its about having the pressure to draft a player who seems overhyped. He doesn't dominate like a 1 OVR player does.

I believe we have bigger needs at RD than C, but the GM will be pressured in picking up Wright
