This trade still leaves a hole in the top 6. Moving Kakko for Kane still leaves a need for a RW in the top 6. This literally makes no sense.

I don't think that's what they were saying, they were saying who is your other top 6 RW now? Yes you upgraded one for Kane but you gave up one in Kakko. You will not win the cup with Julien Gauthier as your 1RW. I also personally think Kane would get more than that considering how bad Chytil has been so far
