Description
NOTE I know im over the cap without retention, i have no idea what the bruins daily accruable cap situation looks like and how much $$ they can bring in without being over the cap. This doesnt include rask. This doesnt include potential retained salaries, i could see both anaheim and arizona being willing to retain salaries for an extra pick or 2. Would be a solid team going into the playoffs.

Woah.

Okay first off, i kinda doubt the bruins would give up the 5th round pick for kessel, let alone the other stuff. There’s no fit there.

Then holy overpay! This is the rental market for a 200 year old center and a very good d man. Multiple firsts is not a thing here.

Boston and Kessel are not a thing. Boston is the last place Kessel would want to go and has an NTC.

Ducks are not sellers.. And that is terrible for Boston anyway.

Shhhhh...Ducks accept...

But adding to everything you said there, Getz wouldn't waive, and the Ducks are in the playoff hunt so it doesn't matter anyway.

its really debrusk and a 5th and moore and a 2nd for kessel. hes already said he would come back here, we need guys that can put the puck in the net, phil can do that. what a bittersweet reunion that would be. imagine though, kessel comes here, wins a cup (beating toronto on the way) lol.

I had to overpay because ducks are 2nd in the pacific. have to entice them into selling 2 of their top players. I get getzlaf is 37 but hes still got it. And hes a bigger player and can be a factor in the playoffs, hes good in the faceoff dot and is tough to play against, even at 37. putting him between hall and kessel would be perfect. Could also target hertl, but there arent many quality 2cs up for grabs right now.

which is why im overpaying. if it was a simple fair value deal that deal isnt happening.
