Toffoli with $2M retention should fetch a 1st, and that's probably not coming from SJS.

Sharks shouldn’t do this at all.

Value is fair I think but Montreal can get much better offers elsewhere and the Sharks should keep as many of those assets as possible.

I'd do the deal.

On Labanc -- his value is at an all-time low and it's all but guaranteed that he'll have a bounce-back year next year with a competent 3rd line center or playing in the top-6. But here we're still getting a youngish (late 20s early 30s) guy in Toffoli for just 2mil for 3 more seasons by just exchanging him for Labanc and a 2nd (and a negligible 4th), and, very importantly, who is also a right-handed shooter. No to the Labanc for D. Strome/Kravstov swaps -- yes to the Labanc + a 2nd and maybe a prospect for Toffoli/Konecny trades.
