Description
All in all I think this is a tougher team to play against while giving up some key prospect this team is better built to win now.
Tried to keep trades as what the "NHL insiders" have them at. I like to think this is fair value for both teams while keeping the CAP in mind for all teasm.
Enjoy.

Additional Details:
Its a tough trade ether way, I think the Oilers need a little more jam and Dach gives that, on the other hand Oilers are giving up the superior talent. I think this works for both teams in the long run.

EDM
  1. Price, Carey ($5,250,000 retained)
Additional Details:
Given the unknown risks for Price and the extended contract I believe this to be a very good deal for MTL, condition on Price being healthy for the stretch.

Boston declines quickly. Keep your cap dump. And Boston will qualify Debrusk next year if they don’t trade him. It’s only 750k raise. His ceiling is higher than his QO. Be piss poor management not to offer.

Give you Moore and Wagner for Kassian. They come off the books a year earlier. Best i’d do.

Why would you want to trade Puljujarvi for Dach? Not a trade off I'd make.

The Bruins won't want Kassian so that trades a no go.

Even at half retained Price carries a lot of risk and you're giving up some good assets, I'd never do that.

I think Seattle would prefer a pick for Giordano.

Barrie should be worth Miller on his own, no need to add a pick, definitely not a 2nd anyway.

Yeah that might get you Chycrun, personally I think the Oilers would be better off to find a 2nd pair stop gap for this year whos way cheaper to acquire and hope Broberg is a 2nd pair LHD next season, really think Holland should be seeing what it'd take to get Da Haan from the Hawks.

No offence, Debrusk has 13 points in 33 games is playing on the 3rd line despite getting quality PP minutes. Boston has 13M in CAP next season, possible 14 if the CAP goes up by 1M and your going to give Debrusk 4.3M? I get not trading Kassian for him, but no team is offering anything remotely worth taking. At the same time they'll walk away from Debrusk. Boston has a whole 4th line to sign, RFA's as well as a RHD.......They're walking away.

All great points. I asked those questions myself, thing is the Oilers are soft, they need some jam and JP is offensive but doesn't have that same jam as Dach does, yes a very risky trade but I like what Dach brings and he can be utilized in other areas.
The other thing I wanted to avoid is building for the future, Oilers should be done building, so trading a prospect like Broberg, the Oilers get an established defender now, not 3 years from now.
I mulled that Gio - Keith trade for a long time, Keith had conditions on coming to Edmonton but I freed up CAP while getting a equal type player, Keith only has a year left so I thought it would work but a pick could have been added for sure.
