---------------------------------
This gives the Sabres a three second round picks, that they can use on other trades or a trade up back into the late first round for a D prospect
--------------------------------------------
Plekanec is a salary dump move
-----------------------------------
I like the idea of pairing shut down Alzner with Risto, allows Risto to gallup and get up into the play which is when he is at his best
---------------------------------
I like the idea of leaving Guhle, Nylander and Bailey in Roch for another season. Get used to each other bc they are going to be the support players for this team as the rebuild continues

I would if I were them. But the position of most Ducks fans is that the window for winning a cup with Getz, Perry, Kes, etc. is closing quickly (which isn't totally irrational). So they've been pushing the idea that they trade him for a top line forward who's still young. I think it's a toss up if they could get that because they don't have a whole lot of leverage in the situation, so I'd settle for a top 10 pick (even if it is in what is believed by almost everyone to be a relatively weak draft). But what do I know, I'm just a guy in college
