What do y'all think?

I know this trade would never happen.

but I base on the fact that NYR want to win this year.

So they get right away:

Toffoli on a great contract (worth a 1st and A prospect)

Lehkonen : great depth player à la Blake Coleman (apparently worth a first, but more like a Good prospect and a 2nd round pick)

Chariot: really only good for the playoffs where you are allowed to literally break a players' ribs. (apparently worth a first)

Caufield: was great in the playoff, but lost his mojo lately.

FOR

Kravtsov: in the KHL because he didn't want to play in the AHL (didn't make the team) - still very good

Laffy: 1OVR pick -has been underwhelming - but has a high ceiling (like Caufield)

Schneider: Great RD prospect (like Ghule), but behind 2 great RD signed longterm ( Fox (a STUD) and Trouba (hes got an NMC)

Habs add a cherry on top by giving Harris and a second.

Schneider is going nowhere. If we can’t trade Trouba in 2 years we buy him out. Simple as that. Rangers aren’t winning this year regardless of who they add.

The only names you see are Allen Lehkonen Toffoli Chiarot because Lehkonen Allen & Toffoli are the only ones who are playing good (with Suzuki but he is untouchable) & Chiarot is a UFA + Friedman reported he might bring a 1st. So yah, not every players are getting traded daily
