I rather kap but I think its pretty much an opinion , so if this was to be discuses IRL, it just depends on the GMs

Pretty fair hockey trade and the kind that Boston has been looking for. I think Debrusk’s ceiling is higher and certainly playing better of the two right now.

I also think it's a fair swap. I think Kap has a higher production ceiling, but DeBrusk is a better two-way player, so they're different IMO. Regardless, I think it's a good gamble for each side.

I see no reason for PIT to do this.
I get why BOS wants to. DeBrusk wants out and his QO is awful.
But PIT doesn't need to get wrapped in that. PIT isn't going to offer DeBrusk 4.8 million next year, why would they trade a good young player for a rental?
They wouldn't.
What more likely is DeBrusk walks next year when no one wants to pony up the 4.8 + million for him. Then PIT can call Heinen and convince DeBrusk to join in PIT for a nice low cap hit well below that mark.
