If we're trading Alex Turcotte to you, it's for K'Andre Miller.

Why do most Rangers fans act like Lundqvist is such a hot commodity that they wouldn't move him for less than 2 unprotected 1sts or Suzuki or Caufield but then put him down as a healthy scratch? If he is that good and that valuable wouldn't it make more sense to trade Trouba and gain more capspace and play Lundqvist in the top 4? Serious question cause I really do want to know!

Edit* not saying Lundqvist doesn't have that kind of value, I would love to get him on the Habs and have often tried to find a trade that works. It is just frustrating trying to figure out value when one Rangers fan says he is worth 2 1sts and another one has him as a healthy scratch or on the 3rd pairing. I get the Rangers are not trading with Fox and cant trade Trouba (due to NMC) but either submit a trade value for Lundqvist or Schneider or send one to the AHL cause all you do when you show a player as a healthy scratch is reduce that players value. I mean what would you think if ever other Habs ACGM had Guhle as a healthy scratch? You would think there is a reason he isn't being considered as part of the future or the current roster so his value has got to be going down. That's what people think (at least I do) when they see a young player on the scratch list.

I don’t see San Jose taking that for Hertl. Needs to be more quality in that trade. Chytil is at best a 3C, Georgiev isn’t worth a ton and is more of a backup, Hajek just no thanks. Not even giving up a 1st either
