Would like to hear what LA fans have to say about this trade...my guess is they wouldn't be so interested in Robertson because he's not yet ready to push for NHL minutes...Miller would be the guy who catches their eye in this type trade...maybe Krav + Miller for Turcotte + 4th?

BTW- interesting idea putting Nils on the left...his strengths are supposedly his skating and smarts (comparable to Fox)...so I'd think playing off side wouldn't be too big a deal for him....just haven't heard it mentioned anywhere.

We're not interested in trading our second-best center prospect (after Byfield) for a LW of dubious commitment, a good but not great LD prospect and a minor future draft pick. As all of us LA fans have said repeatedly, we're only trading Turcotte in some deal for K'Andre Miller.

Honestly I don’t think kings would be interested in having an ALL young left side D.

They want experience on the left to shore it up.

I don’t think NYR is a good match for a trade

If there isn’t a top-4 LD involved, we’ll take our chances developing a high end prospect into a hybrid center/winger. Our systems demand two-way with a focus on forechecking and possession, before you drive the puck up the ice. These are kids who need to maximize their minutes a night at a pro level to accomplish that. Which is exactly what Vilardi, Kupari, and Turcotte are getting in the AHL. All three are pushing their game to get better at both positions, have played NHL time, and each still have legitimate chances to crack a spot this season or next. Until the Kings get a trade option that improves the team long term, let these guys fight for who has the best ceiling and takes an NHL spot.
